Flotrac in Bariatrics

Early investigations are currently underway to assess the validity and usefulness of cardiac flow and pressure monitoring in bariatric surgery. We are using The Flotrac EV1000 a product of Edwards Lifesciences in our cases to assess whether the additional information gained can alter and refine intraoperative management of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy patients.
